The agreement between you and ONEWAY for using our website, dashboard, API gateway and related services.
Effective 28 October 2026 · Version 1.0
01About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and OnlyUps GrowthAvenue LLP ("ONEWAY", "we", "us"), a limited liability partnership registered in India with its registered office at 1814, Ram Nagar Colony, Faizabad, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh 224001, India. They apply to the website at https://1way.dev, the interactive demo, the early-access programme and any ONEWAY products, APIs and dashboards (together, the "Service").
By using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organisation.
02Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the law that applies to you.
Information you give us, including on the early-access form, must be accurate and kept up to date.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your login details secure. Tell us promptly at team@1way.dev if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so by applicable law or if we have previously suspended you.
You must not use the Service if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are on a sanctions or restricted-party list maintained by India, the United Nations, the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom.
03Beta features and the demo
ONEWAY is in private beta. Beta features may be incomplete, change without notice, have lower reliability than a finished product, or be withdrawn. The public demo workspace uses sample data stored in your own browser; sample metrics, keys and integrations shown there are illustrative and are not commitments.
Joining the waitlist or applying for founding access is not a guarantee of access, a purchase, a partnership or a commitment to provide any production service. Any commercial terms will be confirmed with you in writing before they apply.
04Projects and API keys
You can create projects and project-scoped API keys in your organisation. You must keep keys confidential, store them only on servers you control and never embed them in client-side code or public repositories.
You are responsible for all requests and charges made with your keys, including requests made by anyone you share them with. Revoke a key immediately if it may have been exposed. We may revoke or rotate keys we believe are compromised.
If you add your own provider keys ("bring your own key"), you confirm you are allowed to use them with ONEWAY. We store them encrypted and use them only to send your requests to that provider; usage on those keys is billed by the provider under your agreement with them.
05Third-party AI providers
ONEWAY connects you to models and capabilities run by third parties ("Providers"). When you send a request to a Provider through ONEWAY, that Provider processes it under its own terms and policies, which you agree to follow. The Providers available to you are listed in your dashboard.
We do not control Providers' models, outputs, availability, pricing or data practices, and we are not responsible for them. Providers may change or discontinue their services, and we may add, change or remove Providers at any time.
06Your content and outputs
As between you and ONEWAY, you own the inputs you send through the Service and the outputs you receive ("Your Content"), subject to the Providers' terms. You give us a limited licence to host, transmit, process and store Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service and to comply with law.
By default we do not store the content of your requests and responses. If an owner or admin of your organisation turns on request logging, we keep that content for the retention period they choose (1, 7 or 30 days) so your team can review it, then delete it. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. You are responsible for Your Content, including having the rights and any consents needed to send it to us and to Providers, and for how you use outputs.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to send any personal data in Your Content through ONEWAY to Providers.
07Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy and the usage policies of each Provider you use. We may limit, suspend or block traffic that we reasonably believe breaches them or puts the Service, Providers or others at risk.
08Fees and payment
Usage is charged at the rates shown in your dashboard at the time of the request. We will not charge you without first showing you the price.
Paid usage works through a prepaid workspace balance that you top up and that is drawn down as you use AI capabilities.
Top-ups are sold through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo Payments is the seller for the checkout transaction: it processes your payment, calculates and collects applicable taxes (such as GST, VAT or sales tax) based on your location, and issues your invoice. Taxes are shown at checkout. Its own terms apply to the checkout. We do not receive or store your card or other payment details.
We welcome ideas and feedback. If you share them, you allow us to use them to improve ONEWAY without any obligation to you. We will not publicly identify you as the source without your permission.
10Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, brand, documentation, sample data and content, belongs to ONEWAY or its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as permitted here. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer (except where law permits), or use our brand without written permission.
11Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your waitlist submission or account.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, if your use creates security or legal risk, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable we will give notice first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and governing law) will survive.
12Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.
AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or offensive. They are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Review outputs before relying on them, especially for decisions that affect people.
13Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ONEWAY will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) INR 5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify ONEWAY against third-party claims and related costs arising from Your Content, your use of outputs, or your breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law.
15Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update these Terms as ONEWAY develops. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
16Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the grievance process below, the courts at Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or the Service.
If you use the Service as a consumer, nothing in these Terms takes away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts there.
17Grievances and contact
In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it, you can raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, Sahaj Chawla, at team@1way.dev. We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. Full details are on our contact page.
18General
These Terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between you and ONEWAY about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
